This page is operated by Bell Fundraising Ltd, (BFL) a Professional Fundraising Organisation, who is paid to promote payroll giving throughout the UK and to recruit supporters like you to make regular ongoing donations to a chosen charity consortium. The names of the charities that are in the consortiums can be found on https://bellfundraising.co.uk/our-charity-groups
You, as the donor, will decide how much to donate to your chosen group of charities. BFL is paid by the charities who have asked it to promote Payroll Giving on their behalf.
We estimate that our annual remuneration this year will be in the region of £501,125, this cost is proportionately shared by all the charities we are contracted to for a projected income of £3,381,166. It is reported that the average life of a Payroll Giver is 8.5 years, making this a profitable avenue of fundraising for all these charities.
If you choose to give to a charity with whom BFL has not contracted to promote Payroll Giving, we will not receive any payment in relation to your donations but we will process the donation.
Once deducted from your salary, your donation will be passed in full to the HM Revenue & Customs approved agency your employer is contracted with who is responsible for disbursing monies to the relevant beneficiaries per your instructions.
At this stage, there is a small fee payable dependent on the agency (the agency receives this, not BFL – details available on request). In many cases your employer will cover the cost.
As per BFL’s complaints procedure, all complaints may be sent to BFL at Unit 97C+D, Harvey Drive, John Wilson Estate, Whitstable, Kent, CT5 3QT or by e-mail at enquiries@bellfundraising.co.uk
Verbal complaints may be made by phone to 01227 375 363 or in person to any of BFL’s staff.
